Spring Brings hope

Sunny days are coming and the weather is definitely improving. Easter is just a few weeks away and the folks from East Nissouri Union Church are looking forward to seeing each other for coffee and muffins before church on Easter Sunday morning.

As we move forward we rejoice in the knowledge that God is here and we are loved indeed.

Our lineup of services and events can be found on our Facebook page

Travelling around the Uniondale area we see that most of the snow is gone and as the weeks pass we will again hear that familiar sound of tractors and farm machinery making its way to the fields.

The folks from East Nissouri Union Church are looking forward to getting the crops in for the TriCounty Foodgrain Project which we support financially and with some of our folks actively planting and weeding and cultivating and eventually harvesting.

Our plan is to celebrate the project with a dedication service on Sunday, June 26th

Stay tuned for more information on this very special event…it’s our 30th Anniversary of the TriCounty Foodgrain Project

With help from St. Mary’s Presbyterian church and St. Mary’s First Baptist church and folks from the area around we are looking forward to another very successful year to help raise awareness and funding for Foodgrains.

Sunday, May 8th we welcome Robyn Owen to our church…Robyn is a very talented and spirit-filled performer. She will share her voice and her testimony with the folks from East Nissouri Union church.

Hotdog Hallelujah, Coffee and Muffins, lawn chair chats and Prayer night are just a few of the plans we have for our folks over the next few months

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I have for you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end “

Many thanks to the board of East Nissouri Union Church for their continued support of the work of the church.

As we move forward in 2022 I am blessed to serve as the pastor and do the work I do for the families of the church congregation.
